I have an idea for next year's con, I'm going to rent a time machine called a TARDIS which is big enough for 8 people to fit in. I figure that way some fellow NYCC and NYAF fans like myself can split the rent, spend all our time in one show, then travel back and attend the other show. Any takers.

Hello everyone! ^__^

I went on Saturday and while traversing Artists Alley, I saw someone selling small sketches. She had a sign that said something along the lines of: "Tiny things! 50 cents! Ask me to draw one!" All these little sketches were on small cardstock, simillar to business card size. They were drawn in marker and of various characters. She also had several more-detailed Lukes from Professor Layton for $2.

Theres no way to leave comments on a users cosplay, only message them which is too much work for our lazy day life. Post about any cosplay that was super cool to you.

I was cosplaying Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia, and I got bored and decided to walk on the heels of my boots on tile, yeah, what a genius I am. I ended up slipping and falling on my ass. xD I managed to quickly look like I was just sitting on the floor laughing like an awkward moron.

Im sorry for those of you who didn't get the autograph tickets you wanted. But several VIP's and regular attendees, lined up at saturday morning around 2am, myself at 4am, and a trickle of others after that. I split a table with a friend for the weekend, as we have for the past two years.

The Good:
No one gave us hassle getting in early to set up, which was a problem last year. I also really enjoyed seeing the variety of other artists over the weekend.The location was both great and bad, see the bad below. The great was that it was in a very good place to get foot traffic and people had to pass us in order to get through to other areas.

NYAF Masquerade/YumeCup 2009 Feedback

Who went to the masquerade? And what skits were your favorites? The whole competition seemed all sorts of awesome and it was really hard to pick which were awesome!

Personally, I loved:
-Death Note L with the Ice Cream
-DN Angel (what was that song? It was catchy.)
-Waterbride Korea skit.
-and the international teams were amazing to watch too!

Let me quote from the official NYAF site:

"Yui Makino is performing in NYAF's Main Events Hall on September 26, and you've got a guaranteed seat. More than that, you're guaranteed an autograph in a VIP-only autograph signing after her show."
