The recession and NY Comicon

It has been almost 6 months since the Animefest and I am wondering how the recession is affecting everyone who is going to the Comicon.

I personally think there will be a ton of people going because everything is so messed up. People want to go somewhere to escape. I call it the Paul Blart effect.

Let's make NY Animefest even better for the years to come. Make your suggestions on this post!

Here are a couple of mine:
1) Don't put the stage in the area of the screening/panel room. It was way too noisy to hear things and enjoy the screenings/panels this year.
2) The maid cafe was completely lost in the fray and seemed to be in a better place last year, as compared to this year.
3) Where was the gaming room? Please...

I lost their buisness card! Can somebody help me with info?! Does anybody know?!

There was this company who had a table in the artist's alley and they were looking to hire people. I showed them my stuff and I took a card, but when I got home and went through all my NYAF stuff I couldn't find their card!! >_<;; They suggested sending in my résumé and mentioned they might consider me for a job position...

They had a sign saying they were looking to hire, they had a portfolio with full-sized comic pages (B4 sized I think) out to look at, sketch cards...

Sorry, it took so long to post the pictures.
I had fun, hopefully everyone feel the same.
Too bad the microphone did not work at the convention.
Next time I won't use wireless microphone... too much interference.
Hopefully, I will have Aiko walks by the end of Christmas. A long shot, but I won't know until I have tried.

I think they should have Aya Hirano at the next Anime Convention. She's like awesome. She is Haruhi Suzumiya, Konata Izumi Misa Amane and more. She also sings the Theme and Ending of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and the Theme of Lucky Star. I don't know who is the person who decides the special quest but she should be the next special guest for NYAF 2009!

I had a good time at con but there were a few things that went well and a few things that didn't.
Like I thought that disorganization 13 did a great job runing the Fanfiction panel this year. And everyone who went to the panel was very polite and we had a geat discusion about writting fanfiction the do's the don'ts. If you still want to try X idea you really have to sit down and think about it.

I have to say on the down side they could have set the Akihabara...
